Declaration 127 – is a declaration against the bigotry and white supremacy. It is a reference verse 127 of the Hávamál.
127 is taken from the Hávamál, a poem from the Poetic Edda.
“When you see misdeeds,
speak out against them,and give your enemies no peace/Frith.”
Declaration 127 is a starting point and one of many statements on inclusive heathenry.
The first iteration of this statement was written is August of 2016 by the blog Huginn’s Heathen Hof. It was a direct response to recent statements made by the Ásatrú Folk Assembly. This statements outlined the belief that Asatru is only for cis, straight white people.
